Safari itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli. (3.5 - 4  Hrs -250 km.)

0730 hrs: Pick up from Nairobi airport / Nairobi hotel or residence

Depart and proceed to Amboseli national park.

The drive takes you via the Nairobi Mombasa highway and  through Masai country to the amboseli which lies at the floor of the mount Kilimanjaro.

Arrive Amboseli in the mid morning.

Afternoon shall be spent on game viewing drives in search of elephant, cheetah, lion and other plains game. 

The Mount Kilimanjaro in its majesty shall provide the most natural background for wildlife photography. 

Overnight at your Amboseli safari lodge or tented camp.

Meal plan : Lunch, Dinner

Elephant herds, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Hyrax, Lesser Kudu, and Nocturnal Porcupine, prolific birdlife 

Day 2: Amboseli- Lake Naivasha - (340 km: 5 - 6 hrs)

Early morning game  and scenery viewing drive .

Extra game drive after breakfast. 

Proceed to  the Lake Naivasha at the floors of the Great Rift Valley.

There shall be a lunch stop  at a Nairobi suburb restaurant  

Arrive at the Lake Naivasha in the late afternoon. 
Overnight  at your lake Naivasha safari lodge/ tented camp

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara (240Km, 4-5 hours)

Explore Lake Naivasha and spot exotic bird species ,hippos etc on a  morning boat ride

Option of visiting the Hell’s gate by bicycle and hiking is available

Proceed to the Masai mara game reserve.

Arrive Masai Mara in time for an afternoon  game viewing drive

Overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4: Full day - Masai mara.

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!

Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.

It is host to  the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. 

The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the  moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)

Overnight shall be at our Masai Mara safari lodge/ Tented camp

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5: Masai Mara - Nairobi: 265km:5hrs

Early pre-breakfast game viewing drive.

Extra final game drive as you exit  the Masai Mara

Depart the Masai Mara for Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon.
